In Memoriam: Former Vice President of Ghana,
H.E Alhaji Aliu Mahama
A Tribute from the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
It was with shock and sadness that we heard the news of the sudden demise of our late former Vice President H.E. Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
Even though we did not work directly with him as a Conference, we have always followed his activities and interventions with keen interest. He carried out his responsibilities diligently as a humble servant of Allah and a patriotic citizen of Ghana. He was affable, easy to reach and always ready to serve his nation whenever and wherever duty called. He will be greatly missed.
It is our prayer that God will give him a place of repose and rest.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his widow Hajia Ramatu Mahama and all members of the family during these trying moments.
